Wasnt Footloose a mk1 cortina??

Yesterday I walk down the road to check out a new arrival to my street... Ah old retired Irish man just put plates on a pristine MK1 RS1600 Escort... Only a handful of MK1's in the US and this is the only known RS1600 in the east coast...
Btw he also have 2 full race Ralliart evo 6's that's legally registered for US roads

I will take Pics tomorrow

He looking for a Mk1 lotus cortina & a RS2000 MK2 escort... Both evo's does compete in national rally events... Tomorrow I'll go check him

Btw guess how much customs charge him to clear the RS1600? $58 usd :lol:

^LOVE that car....in particular.

It could be one of those, was left here in the late 60's or early 70's when they used to have some English people come over to race.
Car was white when I saw it and looked real nice and clean. The same guy also had a lot of old single seaters around as well!
