TTASA people running wild for elections. Wha is the feedback on the contestants? Or is the interim committee that moving in unopposed like the pnm elections?

I have thrown my hat into the ring and submitted nomination papers to be considered for the post of 'President TTASA'.
I am advised by the Trustees that similar applications were also filed by Mr. Mohammed Ali & Mr. Nizam Mohammed.
Whilst TTASA has been challenged & negotiated similar crossroads in the past, each circumstance is as critically important as any other and this holds true for any duly constituted, democratic organization. I know that it is only by applying the most stringent administrative procedures, will the proper infrastructure for development be successfully implemented and practiced. This is the pivotal guideline which should be observed.
The foresight of TTASA (as a governing body) in securing F.I.A. and NACAM memberships/affiliation has yet to bear the just rewards for our country....BUT....the tremendous importance (of this affiliation to the international bodies) has guided all & sundry in whatever aspirations they have/had regarding motor sports.
I hope that membership will be as discerning as they are demanding in selecting the BEST POSSIBLE MANAGEMENT TEAM which will uplift the TOTAL DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR SPORTS IN T&T.
Please make a special effort to be part of the 'Team' on 09th July,2008.
I have successfully negotiated with a group of investors who are committed to building a motor racing facility which will guarantee proper development of T&T's motor racing industry and also technically support current FIA/NACAM racing events.
I bring the assurance to you all that this consortium will show tangible results by December 2008. At this juncture, confirmation of previously submitted plans-of-action (after the AGM) will be presented to membership.
This, coupled with absolute adherence to administrative rules & regulations as demanded of TTASA as the FIA ASN, NSO and governing body for motor sports, will ensure total transparency in the workings of the administration of motor sport in T&T, and also ensure that all efforts toward motor racing are directed to the ultimate goal of 'development & upliftment' of the sport.
Members.........I urge you to seriously consider this important window of hope for all motor sport enthusiasts who have languished in the innuendo, delays, half-promises and hidden agendas of purported 'champions' of motor racing...-
I PERSONALLY ASSURE YOU THAT THIS DEVELOPMENT WILL CONTINUE TO PROCEED AFTER I AM SUCCESSFUL AT THE AGM AS PRESIDENT.
FURTHERMORE, IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE AGM, I WILL ANNOUNCE A SPECIFIC COURSE OF ACTION THAT TTASA WILL EMBARK ON, WHICH WILL LEAVE NO DOUBT AS TO THE ABSOLUTE COMMITMENT THAT THIS PROSPECTIVE NEW MANAGEMENT WILL CONFORM TO.
Also with this announcement comes my intention to have a referendum by membership in December which (I am sure) will certify this management's commitment to our goal of a home for motor racing.
Yours in motor sport

Nah boy man fighting for post like crazy, yuh swear they getting 20,000 ah month
The first contestant thought he was the only person nominated at the 21 day time-limit an start to move round like he was the president already
Aye, aye, nex thing yuh know, the man who get kick out because of the 19 point vote of no confidence petition with all kinda allegations,
Then he get call back,
then he get kick out again by the Chairman trustee,
so he get badd and jump in the ring. So wait, what about that 21 day rule?
But the real chairman, yes the one from pelting-chair-at-sevilla-club-fame, the man come with a whole speech with more promises than manning. It so sweet is like a Money-festo,
At least he campaigning hi-tec with Email manifesto – take a read hereLink wrote:Attention members

RE: new ruling body for motor sports called TTUMRA with Silbourne Clarke as a representative (TDAD Guardian 20may08)
Sita Ram Brothers in Motor Sport;
One must never worry too much with anything Stillborne's involved in, becomming any successful; He is best described by us who know him well @ TASC/TTASA Executuve levels, in Hindustani terms ....as a "CHAUPATHA" = Someone who can f-uo a wet dream...
Stillbourne is a loudmouth with little or no Motor Sport connections Locally, Regionally & Internationally.
Don't let him fool anyone; for it was Myself in 1991 the capacity as TTASA's Hon Secretary/FIA/FISA/NACAM representative; under the guidance from our late President Mr Pernell Welch who submitted TTASA's successful Dossier in obtaining TTASA -FIA affilation @ NACAM Reunion during GP of Mexico...
I have copies of all related correspondence of TTASA's successful application from both the NACAM Secratariat and the FIA Headquaters written to my name from Paris, France dated 1991....

Hindu Indian Political Activist
Hon Secretary TTASA -1991 & 1995

point to note tho..for prime minister..london bank account issue.
panday was allowed to go for prime minister!
so why is it diff...who want to do what & go for president?
also..for voting..i say the best thing would be to vote for who you want
WRT to T&T or TTASA..join&vote. no vote..no complain
I see a lot of criticism&support from ppl that wont come to an ASPL/TTASA meeting or lift a finger then claimin it affecting them!
IMHO I prefer to be IN something before i cast a judgement or opinion
ent rawle...puttin on a drag event is not ONE day of work.hahaha.its takes weeks but this is what people think cuz they not in it!
certain things you learn only when you IN something.
it doesnt make sense to me to be on the sidelines and criticise!![]()
hell MR. ASPL HIMSELF was part of TTASA...correct rawle?
Maybe you right eh Drago..Maybe you not..
but at least at the end of the day..i could say I tried to do my part..
i tried to help & it was a waste or it was worth my time!
change can only come from the inside
people clamouring about new blood&getting rid of old the big belly men..
who stepping up to the plate?who lifting a finger to help?
nah i forget drago..we have more important things to do.
look meh cleaning the track. lewwe buss ah laugh dey..
just somethings to think about..

AutoSport wrote:And your reference to Panday might be very accurate since he was not convicted at the time of the elections, thus he was eligible. Like Link, who admitted his grave indiscretion, which normally should have earned him severe censure, and disciplinary action, and maybe even expulsion, but shall we say is TTASA so anything goes, and now he even vying for President, great examples of how to govern and allow a free for all?
