No heart for people

Postby Skanky » January 2nd, 2008, 11:42 am

There is a supermarket close to Piarco junction on the main road in Arouca which recently for the xmas season brought in some guyanese women to work.He paid them TT$50 a day for 6 am to midnight work everyday.Gave them boarding and now the season is done he throw them out.Women roaming the street everyday looking for jobs no place to go,no place to sleep, not enough money to go back.Exploitation to the fullest. If anyone can help out these 2 ladies let me know they pass by me everyday. What a Shane.

If they are here illegally then they should be deported.

What is not warranted is the general criticism of Guyanese and Guyana.

One must note that Guyana has recently gotten rights to Oil reserves, they are in good standing with the international community, with China and the US recently signing a series of partnerships with them, they have mass hydro power potential and there is lots of land. (looks at the picture of his 5 acres)

Compare the rise of Guyana to the decay of Trinidad. Give Guyana 15-20 years again.
