Answer = Someone very close to the government who wants to manipulate the share price to get 2 directors on the board.

But that is not a crime as long as the government and its friends do it.

Greeting and good nite or morning..I have been thinking of investing in the ttse

Here is my questions
1) who to get my account with ? ( I thinking I seen fcb prices is decent)
2) the UTC has an index fund ( calpyso fund ) I have been thinking to start
3) any good iras to recommend

Ofc I know the risks involved and costs but when I take check of my life I know it's been pretty late
Also my budget will be varied but I will start off small each month

Tia

Have a blessed night

Ansa Mcal to suspend dividends for three years
“With such strong fundamentals and an expanding global footprint, we are seizing this moment to reinvest in the business and drive even greater long-term value for our shareholders. To support our ambitious growth plans, strengthen our balance sheet, and ensure financial flexibility, we have made the strategic decision to suspend dividend payments for three years to support our long-term ambition,” he stated.

Stock price under pressure today.
Low bids
Lots of sellers.

Might hit multi-year lows in a few weeks.

TTNGL net loss after tax of $119.4 million.
https://ngl.co.tt/wp-content/uploads/20 ... c-2024.pdf

This will go down as one of the worst public offering in history.

PPGPL donated 10-12million USD of equipment to Ministry of Health while shareholders of TTNGL haven't been paid a dividend in over 2 years
https://newsday.co.tt/2024/09/08/health ... at-cancer/

Shareholders need to riot at the next AGM. In any other country chairman and CEO of PPGPL would have been fired by now. Based on the share price of $4 over TT$2 billion of shareholder value wiped out by incompetent management.

Chairman statement talking about Venezuela gas in 2028 so look like the share price have further downwards pressure if that is what he betting on.

not very much PPGPL could do considering the issues with gas availability.

WITCO is looking good at these prices. Revenue looks to have stabilized. Dividends >10%. Might be a good place to park up some spare change.

what you think is the outlook for their revenues though?
seems less product being sold these days
they have been a consistent dividend stock for me for many years

Revenues should be stable moving fwd. Not much room for growth unless by some miracle the govt is able to reign in illegal imports.

So $8-9 might be a fair price at fwd earnings.
