The Williams were looking fantastic in testing and practice - but seems now the others were sandbagging

it doesn't help that he was shooting plenty gun talk last year

Where the cars are so big and fast that overtaking is impossible. Where the tyres that are brought to each circuit have improved to the level that you only need to do a one (mandatory) pit stop.
Where Max Verstappen will win another championship but McLaren are content with just winning the constructors
After the Japanese Grand Prix... It feels like we might be.
McLaren should have allowed Oscar to have a go at Max, if it doesn't work out, swap places back with Lando. They could have box opposite Max so when he does pit his tyres will be better to the end of the race.
Not really. So far all races so far, a different driver on pole. If you ignore the McLarens there is a good shuffle for the top ten positions. Without any rain, safety car, McLaren playing it safe, max behaving himself, Sargeant, Latifi... any race will be boring.kamakazi wrote:Are we in for a boring season.

Piastri caught uncharacteristically napping at the start. Max with a decisive pass to take and hold on to the lead.
Williams doing well. Ferraris did some damage limitation.
Tough luck for Antonelli
Lets hope the 2-stops make it interesting. Last week race was decent, nothing better than taking een a race on a rainy Sunday morning.Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:What a crazy good Qualifying session!!!

The extra pitstops made it interesting. It wasn't a bad race. It's only British fans that does be complaining about everything in F1. It's just amazing that British have no problem looking at a 5 day cricket match but find a hour and half race at Monaco boring.Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:fokhan_96 wrote:Lets hope the 2-stops make it interesting. Go Lando!
Monaco is just too narrow for modern F1 cars.
Good pit strategy by Racing Bulls tho
