Could it be that unions are no longer viable in today's society or are workers not willing to take that risk anymore? Look at the unions locally as well, compared to black power movement and Uriah and Adrian days to present time. Unions are ghosts of their former selves. Ppl joining unions now just for insurance, just in case something happens to them and they need protection from management. A union is only strong as its membership and if the members not willing to go the extra mile then the strength of the union will wither away. If it continues like this both locally and internationally, I foresee unions will no longer be a force and completely obsolete in the not too distant future
