Hey
Does anyone know if you have to pay to receive sms when roaming?
Does it make a difference between if it's pre or post paid?

i remember receiving texts but i dont think i was charged for it... my bill didnt reflect any charges... but idk if it's because i was in the states. the country you in might dictate if you get charge or not

digi giving real trouble in town, no data then only HSPA+/HSPDA.

i reset/ restart/ airplane mode ... nothing

bmobile VoLTE doesn't even work. I called and they said how they activated it on my account but it still says IMS registation status: Not registered. Apparently it doesn't work on Samsung devices atm.

Bmobile VoLTE has always been bad, only ever got it working on a Nokia. No other phone worked.

It was only launched late December 2024.

But samsung phones were provisioned for VoLTE for about a year now for bmobile sims so you its supposed to be working. Called customer care and the rep said it was activated so idk. Told her it wasn't working but she sounded like she didn't care.

the VoLTE provisioning was only for roaming in the US due to the network issues TSTT customers had when roaming in the US in 2023.

TSTT launched VoLTE for local network in December 2024. I can confirm it works on iPhone. Its supposed to be automatically enabled, but it isn't. I've had to call in and have them activate it line by line for my phones. Even this process was hit or miss as some lines had issues being provisioned, and tickets had to be raised. Seems to be a mess overall. Typical TSTT.

The agents also don't seem to be familiar with the service, so getting one that knows what you're even talking about is half the battle.

Up to yesterday evening-

Lte service was spotty at best in Chace Village

Digicel cable was dropping frames and cutting off certain channels last night up to 8.30 pm
