WTK: any use for old spark plugs

Postby *KRONIK* » October 16th, 2023, 10:13 pm

Yeah fellaz

Besides use as fishing sinkers, is there any other use for old spark plugs?

I have about 100 to dispose of....
But wondering if it had any other use for them before i throw them out

Under seriousness..I have started testing the newer more expensive ones with an ohm meter for resistance and for age where easily accessible.

Spark plug testers have gotten cheap and one of these days when I have a few dollars to waste I will buy one.

Don't do that, you know how much time i spend every year diving up them things (and other crap used as sinkers) in Macqueripe.

Even though you not supposed to fish there you would be surprised about the amount of nylon, hooks, sinkers etc they have stick up in the rocks and barley surviving reef....baddies

I did find a massive gold ring a couple of years ago with what looks like diamonds in it- so karma i guess.
