Even with max 10 place grid penalty if he doesn't get a podium this weekend he probably wouldn't for the rest of the season. If McLaren gets another 1-2 finish this weekend they most probably would for the rest of the season.

Redbull on course to come third in the constructors. With Norris, piastri and le clerc fighting for first place this would help max to maintain his lead.antlind wrote:
Perez loses even when he’s winning. Poor guy just can’t catch a break. And now Mc Lauren is leading the constructors championship. I’m willing to bet Horner will be turfed if RB end up losing the constructors crown.

Ferrari surprised me
Lando should have just tucked in behind Max after the scuffle and not get a penalty.
I think he should have overtaken him sooner and get 5 seconds ahead with fresher tyres and cleaner airDuane 3NE 2NR wrote:fokhan_96 wrote:Entertaining race yesterday. Ferrari moving up on points. Looks like Lando choked and couldn't handle the pressure once again.

Exactly. Lando was behind max for about 10 laps trying to overtake him even with a faster car. When he realized that max was defending too good Lando should have just purposely overtake max off the track in a run off area, accepted the 5 sec penalty with a smile and know he will be able to more than make up a 5 sec gap.kamakazi wrote:I think he should have overtaken him sooner and get 5 seconds ahead with fresher tyres and cleaner airDuane 3NE 2NR wrote:fokhan_96 wrote:Entertaining race yesterday. He did clear by 4 seconds at the end before the penalty was applied... Two,three or four laps earlier could be a different story

If the roles were reversed that's how max would have played that.
