They said they going into raffa cause they already cleared norht and central gaza..

They gone into al shifa cause there was an underground tunnel headquarters.

They blew up the wck convoy cause they thought it had a hamas agent.

They gonna stay there a year with all border crossings closed and the US pier non functional.

Seems like they intend to starve out gaza and let diseases handle the rest.

Israel says it has control of smuggling tunnels on Gaza border

The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) on May 29 said that they had captured a “strategic corridor" along the Gaza-Egypt border to cut off “smuggling tunnels" in the area, as per an Associated Press report. This is the latest in its purported offensive against Hamas that will soon reach its eighth month, it added.

“The Philadelphi Corridor served as the oxygen line of Hamas through which Hamas carried out weapons smuggling into Gaza on a regular basis," said Israel's military chief spokesperson, Rear Adm Daniel Hagari. Another official told the AP that Egypt has been notified about the takeover.

Israel-Egypt Relations: Israel's seizure of the 100 m wide and 14 km long Philadelphi Corridor could spell trouble for its diplomatic relations with Egypt, which has complained of the former's closing military presence to its border. Egypt said any more increase in troops would violate their 1979 peace Accord. Before this, it had also complained about Israel taking control of the Rafah border crossing, which allows passage between Gaza and Egypt.

Smuggling tunnels: Israel claims the presence of tunnels along the Philadelphi Corridor and said that these are being used to supply weapons and other goods to Hamas from Egypt. The allegation comes even as both Israel and Egypt have held years-long blockage of the borders, AP noted.

Details about tunnels: An Israeli official told AP they found 20 tunnels (some unknown) and 82 access points to these tunnels in the region. Some of the tunnels are large enough for vehicles, it added.

US proposed a ceasefire "road map" as a weak attempt to salvage election reputation.

Israel says it will not stop till all hamas is gone.

It was never about the hostages, it all about the obliteration of the Palestinians as a people.

IDF eliminates three major Hamas operatives, impeding terror capabilities in Israel, West Bank

The Israeli air force eliminated Mansur Aadel Mansur Kashalan, Walid Abed Abu Dalal and Tareq Darwish

The IDF announced on Saturday morning that it successfully eliminated Hamas terrorist Mansur Aadel Mansur Kashalan on Thursday.

Kashalan was reportedly responsible for terror attacks on Israeli territory.

The Hamas operative was killed as part of a joint operation by the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency). Intelligence information led to the discovery of Kashalan's location, which was struck by IAF fighter jets.

The military added that Kashalan carried out various attacks, a significant number of which took place in the West Bank, and directed them in coordination with other terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip and abroad. ...

^ Hamas has become an ideology - another set will just take their place

For all the intelligence capability, advanced warfare, precise targeting etc Israel has, they instead choose brute force in Gaza

Biden: "I know there are those in Israel who will not agree with this plan and will call for the war to continue
indefinitely, some are even in the government coalition and they've made it clear they want to occupy Gaza they want to keep fighting for years and the hostages are not a priority to them.
Well I've urged the leadership in Israel to stand behind this deal, despite whatever pressure"

BBC Arabic, Muhammad Taha: "The proposal does not include a permanent ceasefire, it does not include a full withdrawal of the Israeli forces from Gaza, which are the main two demands of Hamas."

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Israel’s prime minister faced growing pressure Saturday after U.S. President Joe Biden announced a proposed agreement to end the fighting in Gaza, with many Israelis urging Benjamin Netanyahu to embrace the deal but far-right allies threatening to collapse his government if he does.

Netanyahu called a permanent cease-fire in Gaza a “nonstarter” until long-standing conditions for ending the war are met, appearing to undermine the proposal that Biden described as an Israeli one.

A huge demonstration in Israel on Saturday night, led by families of hostages held by Hamas, urged the government to act now. Mediators the U.S., Egypt and Qatar pressed Israel and Hamas, saying the proposed deal “offers a road map for a permanent cease-fire and ending the crisis” and gives immediate relief to both hostages and Gaza residents.

But far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir said they would break up the government if it takes the deal. That could expose Netanyahu to new elections, scrutiny over security failures that led to the war and — if he loses the prime minister post — prosecution on longstanding corruption charges.

Also on Saturday, Egypt’s state-run Al-Qahera News said officials from Egypt, the United States and Israel would meet in Cairo over the weekend about the Rafah crossing, a crucial aid entry point that has been closed since Israel took over the Palestinian side in May. Egypt has refused to open its side, fearing the Israeli control will be permanent.

Israel has pledged to investigate itself on a series of deadly events during the seven months of war against Hamas. Some of the the findings.
ATTACK ON A WORLD KITCHEN CONVOY: ...the Israeli army promptly published its findings, acknowledged misconduct by its forces
A DEADLY STRIKE ON A TENT CAMP KILLS DISPLACED FAMILIES: ...Daniel Hagari, said a preliminary investigation found that the Israeli munitions used that day in efforts to eliminate two Hamas militants were too small to be the source of a fire that broke out.
SCORES OF CIVILIANS ARE SHOT DEAD AROUND A FLOUR CONVOY: ...witnesses said Israeli troops fired on a crowd of Palestinians waiting for aid. Army officials initially said that dozens of Palestinians were killed in a stampede.
AL-AHLI HOSPITAL EXPLOSION SETS OFF DEADLY INFERNO: Officials in Gaza quickly said an Israeli airstrike had hit the hospital. Israeli officials released live video, audio and other evidence that it said showed the blast was caused by a rocket misfired by Islamic Jihad, another Palestinian militant group. Since, Israel has attacked and destroyed almost every hospital and health facilities in Gaza. (My Emphasis).
A PALESTINIAN MAN IS SHOT WHILE WALKING WITH OTHERS: Video footage shows one of the men holding a white flag. It also said it was “not possible to determine with certainty” whether the man was killed by Israeli fire.
FOUR PALESTINIANS ARE SHOT ON A DIRT ROAD: Aerial footage circulating on social media shows four men walking along a dirt road before a strike hits them, killing all four instantly. The military said the investigation had been turned over to the independent fact-finding group.
A GAZA SURGEON DIES IN AN ISRAELI PRISON: ...those who saw Bursh in detention reported that he looked depleted and bore signs of violence, according to Physicians for Human Rights-Israel. Israel’s military and police did not respond to requests for comment.

This could easily be a cross post to the Ukraine thread as well. Grayzone i.e. Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate et al received funding from Iran on top of what we already know wrt to their ties to Putin.

Some Tuners love these guys though.

Ukrainian forces have joined Syria in its attacks against Russian targets, marking a significant development in the ongoing conflicts. Exclusive footage obtained by the Kyiv Post reveals Ukrainian special forces and Syrian rebels collaborating to dismantle Russian mercenaries in Syria. The video, dated March 2024, highlights these strategic assaults.

The Ukrainian special unit "Khimik," in cooperation with Syrian opposition groups, is focusing its operations on Russian mercenaries supporting the Bashar al-Assad regime. Intense fighting is concentrated in Syria's southern region, particularly in the Golan Heights, where Russian military forces are heavily entrenched.

A source from Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Directorate (HUR), speaking on condition of anonymity, shared with the Kyiv Post that since the beginning of the year, these allied forces have launched numerous attacks on Russian military installations. Targets include checkpoints, strongholds, foot patrols, and military convoys.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir slammed US President Joe Biden’s three-stage Gaza ceasefire deal, labelling it “promiscuous”. Ben Gvir threatened to leave the coalition and topple the government if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to the deal, which he said would end the war without eliminating Hamas.

THAT is the overall goal.. Create the justification for continued action.

The world will not tolerate an all out extermination, but hundreds every year over decades will fly under the radar as 'tensions'.

Israelites are called that as the religious lineage from Jacob.

Israelis are Called that from the modern state imposed on philistine lands...

The locals have the right to resist that occupation.

Nobody wants the Palestinians... Nobody HAS to want the Palestinians.

The state of Isreal is a recent invention, it can easily be relocated... Like how they 'pulled out' of gaza, they can pull out of the rest of the territory.
