The bialetti brand? I have one spare but it lasting 12-14 months with daily use. Gonna bring in a few more unless I find it locally

Some new stock.
These barrel aged coffees are freaking insane. The Kentucky bourbon is the only one I opened so far but it’s incredibly complex and really brings these flavours into the bean.

saw this TH selling in Fish Bar and the price was pretty good

That Tim's nice.
The bag I have in that same flavour I opened this week and it's the best of the medium roasts chain coffees I bought in the past year.

Price good too.
An 8oz bag from Starbucks is 140. This is a 12oz bag for 90, and I swear I see these selling on fb for 150

Yea there's some place in South advertising these for 150. HD Coffee Club or something like that.

I also opened a Full Bloom coffee this week and that's also pretty good IMO. Well balanced.

Amazon....it's where I get all my stocks.
Can't pay them local prices nah. These two bags cost me TT$87.

I have a transport link though so don't use a skybox and get away from taxes and shipping

Finally opened this over the weekend and talk about dissapointed.
Thuis lacks flavour so much. I'm tried a much bigger volume in the brew basket this morning and all I have now is an extremely bitter cup.

Most expensive coffee I have bought ever btw.

Yeah, tho I order without whipped cream, actually prefer Rituals to Starbucks, coffee does be hotter.

The Ethiopian Volcanica coffee I got on sale brews a bit weak in a percolator, the grind is a bit coarse.

I think I'm good on coffee for the remainder of the year with these two packs.

On another note had coffee from a Nespresso. I rate it!!!

Guys, any tips on using a Moka Pot? I bought one recently and I'm not getting the results that I'm supposed to. I'm putting boiling water first and not packing the coffee. Also I'm using medium heat to get it going and then dropping it slowly to low when it starts brewing. It keeps sputtering out and isn't an even flow.

Water is getting hot too quickly
I usually do the entire process on medium to low heat
Also check your grind size...espresso grind is usually too fine for this and if u have no choice ypu can cut a circle from filter paper and put it ontop the coffee to prevent fine particles from getting through

Thanks for this. I'll try the filter paper since I'm using Cafe Bustelo and I think I'll experiment with room temperature water as well.

I have a thick iron tawah (3-4mm thick). I put the moka pot on that with lukewarm water and leave it on medium heat. I know it's iron because it rusts.

It takes 12+ mins to brew a pot.

If you really want a little crema effect, you need a fine or fine-to-medium grind. But if you looking to replicate the true espresso effect with a a good head, the moka pot does not get to the pressure needed. Better than drip, but not true espresso
