Advise on the size required and preference Wood ( Teak) or Metal(Galvanized hollow section) and i will provide a quote for your consideration.

The exact size dimensions of the aquarium is 36 × 18 × 18. I don't know how much bigger the stand usually has to be though. Can you give me an idea? And metal is most preferred.
Okay thanks!INDAVID WORKSHOP wrote:vbahadur24 wrote:INDAVID WORKSHOP wrote:vbahadur24 wrote:I'm looking for a carpenter/someone who's willing to build an aquarium stand for a reasonable price. Can someone hook me up?

I'm placing it on the first floor. Also, the aquarium weighs around 420 pounds.Ben_spanna wrote:Just remember
Every Gallon of water weighs about 7.5 lbs
So a simple 4 foot x 24" x 24 " aquarium can easily weight over 800 lbs, if you live in an upstairs then you also have to thinkl about the loading of the flooring.
last thing you want is an aquarium in your place bursting due to a belly in the middle of the stand
