Both are the same. The major 1% (the true one) has their wealth tied to original slavery

It's in a Trust :?
He meant to say, "Give it back to the 1%." He just didn't know that's where the facility came from in the first place.
Half of Asa Wright was purchased by Americans from the British government, donated to the New York Zoological Society and then donated to the trust.

That would have to be modern day 1%.

Bumping this thread since Asa Wright has reopened as a HADCO Experience. Have some friends visiting Trinidad who want to go maracas then Asa Wright.

Anyone did that drive recently and can say what the condition of the roads are like? Is it passable for a car with low profile tyres?

It can be done but there is an area about 15 mins after Blanchisseusse proper where there would be some difficulty owing to the road conditions and incline after the Brasso Seco junction all the way back to Arima is no issue.

Also note that walk-ins aren't a thing at Asa Wright, you need to make an appointment/booking beforehand. It's not cheap but a truly nice experience

Went and while it's improved in terms of facilities, it's not worth the 500. It's a cash grab and honestly the work was really sloppy.
