Anything with UDECOTT I am afraid of.

They put out an expression of interest for investors, to build a combo hotel / apartments where Salvatori Bldg was.

That was a hot mess before it even started. Some real suss "partners" who claimed to build things in foreign that they never did.

That was a few months ago. They have gone quiet on that development for now.

Probably trying to figure out new ways to shake the money tree.

In the meantime, hold this Lady Hailes By The Sea.

MAKE SURE, you find out who the builders / contractors are and do due diligence on their CV's.

Looks like an extension of embacadere...ie bandit fodder. Also a great way to ensure sando west moves from marginal to stronghold. Politics at it's best, PNM doing it's job by entrenching itself, while the others busy themselves to kiss up to the boss lady.

With prime real estate like that, pnm not going to give it to the Hotspot Development Corporation to create a south beetham.

Many of those apartments will quicker go to friends and financiers. A good example is Victoria Keys.

Good investment….? Only if you don’t mind living next to an old landfill, cemetery and Embacadere low income housing development. Also, you will have to deal with the polluted waters of the Gulf of Paria. This is nothing more than another PNM project that will take 20 years to be built.

They planning to dredge and reclaim lands along the wharf, shut down the dump and move some of the residents to a housing development by Bayshore in Marabella which is already a hot spot.

How long it would take is the question.
