Aussie 209/7 - Khawaja gone (MoM even if Aussie lose) - What a game.

Stokes finally bowling for 2nd innings and got Khawaja with a beauty.

Can't bazball a bowling line up with Hazlewood, Cummins, Boland (Starc in reserve) and a batting lineup that has the #1 - 3 top test batsmen in world cricket currently. And it wasn't even that top 3 which did the heavy lifting for Australia.

WI still have NEPAL, ZIM and NETHERLANDS to play still, I doubt they might beat all 3 of them, the only team I can see them defeating is Netherlands.

England usually overrates alot of what they do not only in cricket, this "Bazball" term could also be termed irresponsible. Ben Stokes says he rather entertain than win but the record books only has a winners and losers. If the pitch can offer something for the bowlers then I can see this method working well for England.

LOLZ. Meanwhile WI v Nepal - WI batting 1st.

"Fraidy, fraidy" cricket on full show in the 1st over. King just barely escaped a run out. Nepal started with a spinner.

Jacka-ss Meyers falls to a magnificent catch in the 2nd over from a poor pull shot - WI 2/1 Well yes.

Lemme go back and sleep oui.

Bro, WI not playing fraidy cricket, thats the best they have to offer... thats is simply WI giving their best. While all other nations are progressing and trying to improve WI cricket is getting worst by the day.

WI beating up minnows as they should given the experience gap
What I didn't see was Ireland struggling as badly as they are. \

This tournament is actually giving consistently good matches. Well played ICC however I guess critics would say it could have been part of the actual WC itself as a stage 1.

SL did what they do really good - Roll over a minnow. Oman bowled out for an even 100 and then the runs knocked off within the powerplays with no wickets lost. Hearkens back to the days when Vaas would routinely rip apart a minnow and then Sanath comes in and bashes off whatever runs were made.

Lucky for WI 3 teams coming out of each group into the Super 6 but then again they would've made it out alive even if it was only 2 teams this time. Crisis averted?

Not the way they are fielding.

Got up just in time to see Carty drop Raza of a sitter of a catch. Heard they dropped 3 off Joseph so far.

Rubbish fielding and bowling allowed Zimbabwe to make 250.

269 is a completely gettable ask even for the WI. Zimbabwe should have some better bowling than WI faced previously though including the beanpole Muzarabani.

I wonder if WI realize that the points in this stage of the tournament carries over to the Super 6 stage? They playing like they know they already qualified and the points don't matter.

Dotish cricket and management again.

When I saw 30 dots balls in the first 48 balls, I knew they were in trouble.

If (when) they lose against Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka will massacre them and well... as you said DMan7 ... Sammy and Co are not ready for the big leagues.

Currently 188/6 - 34 overs

I already told ya uncle blue, that this is WI LEVEL. Anything above Zimbabwe and they will consistently fail. The quality of our players in the West Indies are on that level nothing higher.

They cannot even beat Zimbabwe. Well, time to bring in the young 'uns and give then an extended chance. Athanaze, Sinclair and company.
