why did nobody do this before

was it too hard
too expensive
or too risky

or did govt and corruption block it
and the north coast runners want privacy

did the road collapse under a landslide
and water and current go away

You could have put some of that influencer cash to work in Maracas. Maybe you tried but instead bought bake and shark and rum and then went home when the maxi left.

But seriously it had a kinda natural eco rustic laid back feel that would be missed (probably because of the neglect and low occupancy etc anyway ) .

Looks like they turning it into the typical hustle and bustle plastic chair and beach umbrella commercial type resort . Progress I suppose..

allyuh get wet over this project. when this done no free parking or making cook again around maracas. maracas will be in accessible to all locals who cannot fit the profile. anyone remember accessing the beach behind west mall and how is it now? development comes with a heavy price. i remember bubbling a pot under the trees by the bridge and now it is no more. PNM selling out TT and soon allyuh go have to join those in front the chinese grocery to drink allyuh rum.

Thought this woulda been a no-brainer from forever, so the question is why now?

Anyway, once they doh massacre the site as they did with Macqueripe, it's a welcome addition.

Macqueripe had a makeover by the entrance to the car park with wooden posts and fencing of sort, all that wood has deteriorated and in disrepair now.
