So Jetpak trying to speed lol. My account says awaiting customs clearance since 6th Jan and the driver just called to say he have a package to deliver to me and should be here about 3pm. He said check back the account in about an hr to see if they updated it with the charges cuz he doesn't know what the charges are either lol

Idk if jetpak just taking have delays updating their system... but yesterday at 1:45pm I received the email saying my package has been processed in miami and then at 5:15pm same day, got an email saying my package has been cleared lol

Aeropost as usual very efficient

once customs working as they should and not peak nov dec shopping season - no issues

Jetpak is winning once again with delivery and the prices. Seems they have settled down. Arrived Jan 6 and delivery today. Their drivers are quite well trained I may add.

I was told no hazmat that was my first question lol

Was informed from a source employee but ill call them to confirm

if its a pump type perfume....like u have to press it each time to spray...then its not hazmat

if its a press and spray (like axe) then its aerosol....and it needs hazmat

thats what was explained to me, i never try it though

Perfume is hazmat because it is flammable. Doesn't matter if it's aerosol or liquid

2 bottles max any size can be ordered and shipped (non aerosol pressurized types)

More than 2 bottles will be split and have a charge of 5usd added per bottle

Other than that it can be done regularly

Just clarifying.... can we still apply for a tax rebate for items purchased after dec 1st 2022? I just purchased a laptop to ship via jetpak and was charged tax.

The state of Florida has a three year maximum filing requirement for sales tax refund applications of any type. If you're speaking about the time requirements of a particular vendor, I can't speak to that.

You can apply for refunds of sales tax by contacting the vendor. IIRC, Florida changed to 0% sales tax law. All you need is the exemption certificate from the freight forwarder to submit to your vendor. They probably already have seen the address and certificate before but may ask for it to pass on Florida Department of Revenue.

Didn't get back any refund yet. Submitted one and they responded asking for tracking number. Its kinda strange the tracking number no longer shows up on that order anymore.

Also seeing orders to jetpak address are now taxed, so idk if they changed that exemption
