+1 on the six sigma recommendation.

Everybody I knew did the MSc. for safety with SBCS.

Those with contacts gt. Those without salted.

I went the NEBOSH route.

HR peeps told me, anything you doing make sure it have intl weight.

Hiring manager was from the us. I gt.

Guy told me he doesn’t know anything about those uk msc.

But NEBOSH has an arrangement with OSHA us that they understand.

Take it at face value.

This is one of the best threads I've viewed here recently. Keep up the good work guys...you are definitely helping out. I have an undergrad engineering degree thus far and it really doesn't seem that an MBA would help much other than seldom used theoretical knowledge. Even with the BSc, alot of the content was hardly used.

Mba/Msc plus more than 10 years experience and supervisor/middle management office = Great

Mba/Msc plus more than 5 years experience and supervisor/middle management office = Good

Mba/Msc plus more than 5 years experience and no supervisor/middle management office = ok

Mba/Msc plus less than 5 years experience and no supervisor/middle management office = bad

Mba/Msc plus no experience and no supervisor/middle management office = very bad*

* save and except you heading the route of MPhil-Dba or Doctorate

this was adapted from an actual document I used to use while doing interviews.
