All you're gonna get in most hardwares is yellow polypropylene. If you want braid/Marlow double braid/, plait, polyester, nylon in various sizes and colors, fleck patterns. You'll get that at a marine supply store.

lanate to expensive and rope cost money. cut down the fiber to home lines that you can reach on the TTEC poles and use that. heard a man used that some years ago cause he couldnt afford road.

If is a temporary hammock and you light, they sell 1/4 by the roll. You'll get plenty.
If you is a boobooloops, 1/2 or 3/4.They sell that by the lb.
Even better is metal cable, but it expensive, unless you have friends in ttec that could give you some carrier cable

For hammock, that cheap yellow hardware rope gets brittle and breaks after a few years of UV exposure.

1/2" usually good size and can take the sudden jerks et ...test measure with chair and rope then minus a 6" from rope length.. Ensure the tree or rafters where ever decide to install the rope is strong enough for the job cause the break strength is like 7894 lbs for polyester double braided(depends on your budget as well).. Angle back chairs are easier to kick top but standard chairs can work as well just a little more effort..

Can let u know how It works out or can send pics of the project before
