Nothing in nature is 100% predictable.My cousins got chicken pox years after they were vaccinated.A vaccine is not a cure.It does not cancel out the virus.

This new surge... i wonder why they can't figure out and correlate it with the bars opening two weeks ago for alcohol on the premises consumption coupled with the stinkness of the people who find it necessary to have a pint and spit up in each other face at the height of the pandemic? Bars and any alcohol speakeasy establishments and rivers should be closed for another whole year. Open back everything else and let's get on with life. Don't mind a curfew in place for 11pm to 4am. Ppl who have to travel then have already sorted their paperwork in the last year.

Keep waiting on the new variant ….. why not use the vaccine that helps with current variants? Wanting to live doesn’t just mean getting vaccinated…. It also means wanting to live( travel, socialize etc).

Since June have we added more machines so that more tests can be run each day? Why I ask is that I noticed that instead of the 3 days of samples being analysed we are now up to 4 days. The longer the lag between taking the sample and getting results to people, the greater the chance of them exposing others.

They analysed 1455 samples yesterday to get those 512 cases. Over 35% positivity. If the capacity isn't high enough we will be back in the situation with results sometimes taking 1-2 weeks to come back.

It's beginning to look like in a couple weeks we will be at 20+ deaths a day and if the spread continues to accelerate.. could be way higher than that in a month.
