The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) said a 52-year-old man was charged for allegedly forging immunisation cards.

In a statement, the TTPS said 52-year-old Terry Garib appeared before Magistrate Armina Mohammed-Deonarinesingh yesterday charged with forgery of immunisation cards with intent to deceive.

The TTPS said the accused was not called upon to plead as the charge was laid indictably by PC Jagroop of the San Fernando Police Station.

The TTPS said Garib, an Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) employee of Mt. Stewart Village, Princes Town, was placed on $150,000 bail and was ordered to surrender his passport as part of his bail conditions.

Garib was also a candidate to be a local government representative for the People's National Movement (PNM) in 2016.

He will reappear before the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court on September 14, 2021.

The TTPS said the incident arose out of a report made by security personnel at the San Fernando General Hospital who observed that the accused was allegedly distributing immunization cards concerning COVID-19 vaccinations to persons hired by him to prepare same.

During the course of the investigation, detectives allegedly discovered that a man used a template of a genuine COVID-19 immunization card to make the cards. He was later seen distributing the fake cards.

The suspect was also reportedly found to be in possession of a stamp that bore the words “The Ministry of Health” and which originated from the Ste Madeleine Health Facility.

To be fair, you can't trust any politician regardless of race.

Reports are that BPTT, said to be the largest gas producer in Trinidad and Tobago, will reduce its gas production by up to 300 million standard cubic feet per day in 2020 and 2021, constituting a 15 percent drop in production.

According to a report in the Trinidad Guardian, the drop in production conflicts with the mid-year budget that finance minister Colm Imbert presented during which he downplayed the significance of the decline.

“Given recent disappointing results on a couple of infill wells, we are now unlikely to have the 200-300 mmscf/d that we were expecting to supply into Train 1, especially in the 2020 to 2021 time frame. These volumes would have been supplied under a new, as yet unsigned, gas sales agreement between BPTT and Atlantic 1,” the Guardian quotes BPTT as saying.

According to the report, “Imbert told the Parliament that the drilling campaign had resulted in only one unproductive well and he found the concerns to be “alarmist.”

“[The] BP wells with less than satisfactory results are only two in number and are infill wells in existing gas fields. Unlike exploration wells, infill wells are normally brought into production almost immediately. I am advised that one of these infill wells will go into production shortly, although with lower volumes than anticipated, leaving just one unproductive well. All this drama over one unproductive well is totally unnecessary,” the Guardian quotes Imbert as saying.

The report said BPTT told Guardian Media that the two wells that failed were in its Cannonball and Cashima fields “and while the fields are still producing it has had to revise its forecast for gas.”

BPTT reportedly said: “The two wells concerned were in our Cannonball and Cashima fields. We will continue to produce gas from the existing wells in the Cannonball and Cashima fields, however, we have revised our production forecast for the 2020-2021 period in these two fields. We will review the results from these two wells and apply any learnings into future infill drilling programmes.”

BPTT had an average production in 2019 of 2.1 billion cubic feet per day. The company told Guardian Media, “There is no impact on forecast production from our other fields and there is no impact on our 2019-2020 exploration drilling programme or on our sanctioned new field developments, Angelin, Cassia Compression and Matapal. We will continue to bring on new wells in Angelin as planned this year and continue to target first gas from Cassia Compression in the second half of 2021 and Matapal in 2022. We will also step up our focus on well work and system optimisation to maximise base production from our existing fields.”

You have no shame to put up that video. The same people that voted for the PNM are the ones feeling it most now. After voting , they are of no importance again.

I wonder if any of the steppers know how much 12x6 is?

Malcolm X was the realest. That is why the democrat party in the states don't talk about him and push MLK instead. Locally, Eric Williams is pushed while Kwame Ture was banned by said Williams.

Rowley banned many hundreds from returning to Trinidad

I would be dead if Kamla handled this pandemic for sure.

If you don’t know who suffering right now , you out of touch , badly. I around them so I know.
He the very same person that brother Malcom X spoke about , those that served massa in the house.

Careful, the 2NR Racist Police led by Colos, Tuntsy and wing will feign misunderstanding, and say you're racist.

Learn to read and comprehend. I said you were one of the self appointed 2NR racist police, and ironically here you are again doing EXACTLY what I said, feigning outrage and crying racism when I have explained on numerous occasions the context for calling JUHN Scarfy, JUHN Scarfy, but ollour LFD RFD PNM fanboys head hard so.......

Malcolm tells the parable of "house Negro."
King Solomon Baptist Church, Detroit. 10 November 1963.

Transcribed text from audio excerpt.

To understand this, you have to go back to what the young brother here referred to as the house Negro and the field Negro back during slavery. There were two kinds of slaves, the house Negro and the field Negro. The house Negroes--they lived in the house with master, they dressed pretty good, they ate good because they ate his food--what he left. They lived in the attic or the basement, but still they lived near their master; and they loved their master more than their master loved himself. They would give their life to save their master's house--quicker than the master would. If the master said, "We got a good house here," the house Negro would say, "Yeah, we got a good house here." Whenever the master said "we," he said "we." That's how you can tell a house Negro.

If the master's house caught on fire, the house Negro would fight harder to put the blaze out than the master would. If the master go sick, the house Negro would say, "What's the matter, boss, we sick?" We sick! He identified himself with his master, more than his master identified with himself. And if you came to the house Negro and said, "Let's run away, let's escape, let's separate." The house Negro would look at you and say, "Man, you crazy. What you mean, separate? Where is there a better house than this? Where can I wear better clothes than this? Where can I eat better food than this?" That was that house Negro. In those days he was called a "house fella." And that's what we call them today, because we've still got some house afro trini running around here.

This modern house Negro loves his master. He wants to live near him. He'll pay three times as much as the house is worth just to live near his master, and then brag about "I'm the only Negro out here." "I'm the only one on my job." "I'm the only one in this school." You're nothing but a house Negro. And if someone comes to you right now and says, "Let's separate," you say the same thing that the house Negro said on the plantation. "What you mean, separate? From America, this good white man? Where you going to get a better job than you get here?" I mean, this is what you say. "I ain't left nothing in Africa," that's what you say. Why, you left your mind in Africa.

Brother Malcom X speech is directly related to the red government where you have the in-house and field hands who all serve the same massa

So you distinguish the PM by his race and that is not racist?

When did Malcolm X say this?

Why is it that when you all feel so backed in a corner that you have to lash out with race? If you have a problem with Dr Rowley, criticise his policies. Referencing race makes you look like the simpleton you are.
