It won’t be that amount. The police use the street or retail value which is a lot more than the wholesale or cost. One kg of cocaine is $3000 usd and a kg of weed is $400usd if your link is good.

40 kg of cocaine is $120000usd and the weed is $40-50g usd . Total just over $1m ttd.

Police seize $22 M in cocaine, marijuana

Police seized a quantity of cocaine and marijuana valued at more than $22 million in Moruga today.

An intelligence-led exercise was carried out in Moruga during the hours of 4 am and 1 pm on August 10th. This exercise was coordinated by Senior Supt Lucia Winchester and spearheaded by Asp Ramdass. It included officers of the Southern Division Task Force and the Special Investigation Unit (SIU).

As a result of intelligence received, the officers proceeded to a bushy area off La Lune Road, Moruga, where a search was conducted. Four crocus bags containing a quantity of brown and black packets were found. A further check revealed the brown packets to contain plant material resembling cannabis and the black packets containing a white substance resembling cocaine. The officers also proceeded to another location along the La Lune Road where further checks were made along the shoreline where they found a crocus bag containing four brown packets. The brown packets each contained plant material resembling cannabis. The black packets containing a white substance scaled 46.42 kilos with a street value of $21,538,880, whilst the brown packets containing plant material resembling cannabis scaled 78 kilos with a street value of $540,000. No one was arrested.

Who are the ones committing the majority of the heinous crimes? Trinis or Venes?

But a big uproar when some Venes are caught with petty crimes, zesser parties and curfew breeching. And ofcourse we have the drug finds in which ALL cases have Trini influence. But let a Trini rape a woman and it’s like no big deal.

And Trinis have the audacity to say Venes are cursed? No wonder most of them are where they are today…i.e in the same damn backward stagnant place as others and the world move forward.

A Vene will make an honest humble living just to make ends meet to feed their families and some Trini kant gonna assume that they are criminals.

We have good Venes and bad Venes, and we also have good Trinis and bad Trinis.

It shows maturity in education and thinking in a realistic world and/or in lil bad john Trini .

Everyday in T&T, peeps are bombarded with tabloid news of senseless killings and many are revenge or "tote murders" where peeps are NOT able to deal with personal issues and it turns violent and deadly causing much disruption in every community .

Venezuelans are immigrants reaching out for a better life but as you know the good also comes
with the bad and you cannot paint a "normal" picture with such a large brush as per Tuner Rovin's contribution . And why would you project this unholy characteristic even if it's for humor.

Many Trinis go to New York, Miami, Maryland, London etc., and many are successful while many also are deemed to cause trouble and problems . So is it that ALL Trini should be banned and deported ?

But Venezuelans are tough and smart and religious - they will succeed like the other immigrants .

Everyday they grow stronger and the Gov't seems to understand that they are here to stay and support is showing for them as per vaccination program and legal status to keep them in Trinidad.
