Aussies missing
Warner
Maxwell
Smith
Stoinis
Cummings
Richardson

Good match practice for windies though, they getting a chance to experiment a lot

Yea but we know how Australians passionate about their cricket. Those 2 defeats especially to WI, eating their heart out. Ah love it.

Chris Gayle really planning to go to the world cup and embarrass himself on the biggest stage? Time to retire man. Let ppl remember you as a dominant batsman, not the sad shell of a cricketer he's become.

You would think he made enough money from playing every t20 league around the world over the past decade. Is he still playing to collect that 1 last big payday from the world cup??

^ T20 by nature will allow him to have one off matches where he gets going.

He is still a liability in the field and with his running. Do we carry him in a tournament of around 6-8 matches and hope he gets off in the right ones whilst still having to cover him in the field?
Enough of the sentiment and let him go his way.

But the question is, if gayle doesn't play, it means Evin lewis plays, ... is lewis better than gayle though... both of them plays the same, they have good days and bad days, both not consistent.

Gayle would replace Fletcher,
so the top 3 currently are Lewis, Simmons and Gayle.
Who does Pollard replace when he's fit? A bowler?

T20 players just after the money. Would love to see WI dominate test cricket once again. They have the skills and talent, they don't focus enough on training themselves mentally.

So if someone gave you a choice of working for 5 days or working 3 hours for the same pay which one would you choose.

Windies tried to experiment with the bowling attack and lack of experience hurt them. At least they see where they stand with those who were selected last night

He has Covid.
He was playing for Warwickshire Bears in the T20 blast in England and got Covid a few weeks ago. I think they replaced him with Kyle Mayers.
