Make sure you wash and clean your cylinder before bringing inside. They are very dirty and sometimes have filth underneath.

Need advice here. A 3 story building was built approx 5 years ago and remained un occupied and recently i visited building and noticed cracks on almost all the walls none more than 1/2 inch wide but alot. the walls at the top seems to be leaving the beams. on one side water seems to be seeping through the top decking and into the walls on that side. what are somethings that can cause this to happen and what can be done to help it. I heard about how the building probably just settling, the land is Endeavour flat land houses all around no flooding of area etc. Will try to get some pics tomorrow and post for opinions.

If I had to guess,

1: auger piling was not done
2: steel from bottom to top was not tied to each(eg, you may have used 5/8s for the posts at at the corners and it was not connected from 1st floor to second floor)
3:building probably finished settling

On average, what would be a ballpark estimate (overall or per sqft) to construct a 3 bedroom (each with bath and wic) flat 2200sqft? Finished with granite/teak kitchen, porcelain tiles, standing seam roof sheeting, double garage with motorized door.

You bring back PTSD there.
Had a rat problem a few years ago.
Went absolutely bonkers to get rid of it, because there were quite a few possible entry points and my kid was a toddler at this point

I had to dump over 2K in groceries because the bastard climbed up in pantry and bit damn near everything. I talking about entire cases of child juice, mixed nuts, peanut butter, even saw teeth marks on tin cans. When I spotted him a night, it was about a foot long monster rat.

Took a couple weeks, but finally the bastard died and my seal up strategy worked.

They can fit in VERY NARROW spaces. Like I saw a fat MF pass under a door less than 1/2" space

Had to use aluminium door threshold strips on all exterior doors, check/seal washing room plumbing for potential entry up a 4" waste pipe, put traps and storm2 wax bait inside and outside. Made a mandate for wife and MIL to keep the doors closed at all times, because they had a bad habit of leaving outside doors open. Also started putting out kitchen trash every night. It's ok if they tear the bag outside, as long as they don't reach back inside.

Boy I put some wyze cams to watch this rat in action,

they real smart, he wouldnt go on a big sticky trap with plenty sardines on it

even with the bait he eventually ate, he would take a quick nibble and run back and wait several minutes before touching again.
they are very very wary.

they can not only pass in very narrow spaces, they can jump a couple feet AND climb up table legs and even the space between a cabinet and a stove even if it is smooth.

food should be kept in closed cupboards

i bring them home a evening and rest it on a table in the garage and forget to bring it inside before i went to sleep

you know the next morning everything get firetruck up
rice, flour, everything that could bite get bite
i eh know if it was a team of rats or cats or one real vengeful rat

Try to keep your places clean.

Clear and clean your houses both inside and out.

Yeah gotta not let them have sources of food to check out and house well secured

I have a backroom where a rat used to enter occasionally thru a cctv cable passing thru a hole in brick wall high up near ceiling.

I have also seen where rats were living in a ceiling and literally have to do a somersault to exit the little hole they were entering from near a piece of burglar proofing.

in Woodbrook with the ave food places shutdown them rats prowling all over looking for food.
Many of the rats don’t travel on ground, they move along the tops of the alley walls between the blocks.

the trick with rats is once their head can fit in a hole, under a door etc the entire body will pass as they can adjust to fit. cats can do it somewhat and other rodents as well. get some rubber door sweep that skims along the floor to close the space at the bottom of the door. fancy block should be sealed with chicken wire as well as where the wall meets the rafters. with all the food places closed the rats will look for food at people homes who have dog food outside, vegetables etc and you know what the rat urine cause. i used to mix sardine, cornmeal and cement and put for them rats and as the cement harden is goodbye rat.
what i notice these days is a lot of gecko around and their urine just as bad a rats and getting rid of them is pressure.

Both are in India. Either will live in the sewer or the field.
