A 3 story building was built approx 5 years ago and remained un occupied and recently i visited building and noticed cracks on almost all the walls none more than 1/2 inch wide but alot. the walls at the top seems to be leaving the beams. on one side water seems to be seeping through the top decking and into the walls on that side. what are somethings that can cause this to happen and what can be done to help it. I heard about how the building probably just settling, the land is Endeavour flat land houses all around no flooding of area etc. Will try to get some pics tomorrow and post for opinions.

You bring back PTSD there.
Had a rat problem a few years ago.
Went absolutely bonkers to get rid of it, because there were quite a few possible entry points and my kid was a toddler at this point
I had to dump over 2K in groceries because the bastard climbed up in pantry and bit damn near everything. I talking about entire cases of child juice, mixed nuts, peanut butter, even saw teeth marks on tin cans. When I spotted him a night, it was about a foot long monster rat.
Took a couple weeks, but finally the bastard died and my seal up strategy worked.
They can fit in VERY NARROW spaces. Like I saw a fat MF pass under a door less than 1/2" space
Had to use aluminium door threshold strips on all exterior doors, check/seal washing room plumbing for potential entry up a 4" waste pipe, put traps and storm2 wax bait inside and outside. Made a mandate for wife and MIL to keep the doors closed at all times, because they had a bad habit of leaving outside doors open. Also started putting out kitchen trash every night. It's ok if they tear the bag outside, as long as they don't reach back inside.

You ever see a rat walk up a 8 foot concrete wall and gently climb over barb wire ?

I have a backroom where a rat used to enter occasionally thru a cctv cable passing thru a hole in brick wall high up near ceiling.
I have also seen where rats were living in a ceiling and literally have to do a somersault to exit the little hole they were entering from near a piece of burglar proofing.
in Woodbrook with the ave food places shutdown them rats prowling all over looking for food.
Many of the rats don’t travel on ground, they move along the tops of the alley walls between the blocks.
Popular in India, too.sam1978 wrote:pugboy wrote:Yeah gotta not let them have sources of food to check out and house well secured

If you was a Chinee , you could cook them.
Both are in India. Either will live in the sewer or the field.pugboy wrote:Those are field rats tho, eaten many places
