False. Those "Tobago Only" words were photoshopped.

Folks, if CDC confirmed COVID is AIRBORNE (https://www.tv6tnt.com/news/7pmnews/cdc ... f326c.html), how come there's no push to distribute and wear suitable masks like SBCA (self contained breathing apparatus) or oxygen-assisted sealing masks or something like these, atleast for frontline workers?

It's like world governments saying, "we know mosquitoes carry dengue, but lets NOT tell the public this, let's NOT tell them they should use aerosols, mosquito nets, repellent creams, smoke outs and other curtailing practices - let's see how many survive before we impose more restrictions to stifle economies".

here's to hoping they allow food places to re-open for takeout/delivery/curbside. would ease up some of the congestion in groceries and pharmacies (which is ridiculous these days).

jus like they should be telling ppl to put on their mask coming into the office, not have it on and then take it off coming in. to be fair they did say this in 1 conference but they clearly need to repeat and emphasize that most cases are indoors. not that outdoors are safe given the sheer number of cases and a highly contagious variant but emphasis is needed.

i tell my boss that we should have universal masking. he say we rotating but he will 'look into masks'. i sent him an article which says social distancing indoors is not enough.

and create congestion in these places? the most they should consider, and only AFTER the curve flatten, (daily cases stop going up) is open up curb side for all businesses but not indoor takeout. after cases come down some more then takeout, then cases go down some more maybe limited outdoor socially distanced dining.

i doh think indoor dining can safely resume with this P1 variant until at least half the population get vaccinated.

Realistically, the measures will prob increase to a stricter curfew. I can't see anything opening back any time soon. Numbers aren't getting better and with point Fortin hospital added to the parallel system things aren't looking positive.

why haven't they introduced contact tracing apps? because without that u are flying blind- in other words u don't know where 90% of cases are happening. it probably won't work for the zesser parties or home gatherings as those ppl not responsible enough to behave so they won't install it. but perhaps ppl who have to work can install it as well as ppl who are going for essential items can be alerted if they were in a grocery which had positive cases.

Less time on going to grocery means more congestion and more chance of covid.

-Curbside/home delivery preferred.

-Enforce more rules in groceries. More surveillance to keep in check.

- have less ppl in groceries...is it 50% already?

I understand what ppl trying to say of cooked food that can be bought curbside or delivered. But the end of the day they wanna have less movement.

with the high infection rate it should be 25%. and strict enforcement of 1 person/family. though single parent families with only 1 adult and small children would have an issue (damn deadbeat fathers again!)

Things looking better than I expected, wonder if they're falsifying data now...

Oh no wait, ICU and HDU is occupancy (and they added more), it does not mean patients have decreased.

Nah it's the way she presented the data, numbers are at an all time time, but they have added capacity now.....which is great, but doesn't mean the situation is getting easier.

The projected 96.5% decrease from peak has been pulled ahead one month. It was September 1st. It is now August 1st.
