Them playing politics with the numbers last year was thing to hang for. I remember somewhere in this thread saying that the day after election you would see just so 100 new cases in the front page and some PNM stooge say I mad. And just like that it happen.

They have been manipulating the statistics to suit their narritive all along.

The govt is to blame for the election spike, the Easter spike, the vaccine farce, the mismanagement of HSF money...and the list goes on.

But that's what the people vote for. So that is what they get

I think we should be calling for the resignation of:
CMO
Maryam Richards
Trotman
Avery Hinds
Deyalsingh.
Tax payers dollars are being paid to them to prevent us from reaching a position like this yet we are here.
Someone has to accept responsibility for this atrocious state of affairs.

Don't even mention the massive loss of livelihood that we are currently experiencing.

not only resignation, they should be jailed for mass genocide of the population with they greed and stupidity. if kamla didnt build the parallel health system all of us would be dead by now and the population cut down by 2 thirds. the continue to be two steps behind in managing the covid situation and the entire population has to pay that price.

So after the resignation and conviction and execution of those involved, who would you prefer to be in authority and what should they do to eradicate the pandemic in the country. Please try to be as specific as possible.

You have 1.4M people, I am sure you can find a group to fit the role. Ditch the balisier juice for a bit so your thinking would clear up and maybe you can try to understand that putting the same people there all the time who failed before would only result in continued failure...

and plenty people who know their customers are selling food as normal at their houses

all them doubles men, bbq, roti shops etc who customers know them......

so imagine if a doubles man family have corona...and everyday he selling double to 50-60 people as usual......

1. Removal of the allowance to have 4 non household residents visit a private residence with police or army to enforce compliance
2. Solo outdoor exercise permitted in line with social distancing guidelines with increased police or army presence at popular exercise sites to ensure compliance
3. Removal of lax "essential worker" designations that have allowed non essential businesses eg. Carib to continue operating at full capacity
4. Announcement of more borrowed money to enable supplemental payments to workers who can't work during the restrictions

The medical staff at Couva have done an excellent job since last year. Now the NCRHA CEO Davlin Thomas is allegedly lying through his teeth.

I wonder which politician (PNM OR UNC) told him to make such a move.

Since when have they been easing restrictions with daily cases still rising? Perhaps the outdoor ones might be ok but public transportation ? Not yet

Forget reopening for now, once the population alive and well, we'll reopen in time to come.

They are just patiently waiting for KFC, bars, beaches and rivers to open and we know what will be the outcome.

The PM can more than afford to restrict a little more.

Do it while the nation is silent.

Relaxation of restrictions just isn't an option at this time.
Our infection rate and the obvious pool of infected citizens which must be far larger than those determined via testing, suggest that we may be faced with many more weeks before 'control' can be achieved.
This dark time is surely going to test each and every one of us and those of us who have embraced dysfunctional behavior as a way of life would be the ultimate victims in one way or the other.
Covid19 demands that we all engage in serious introspection and rejection of attitudes which do not support positive values.
Unlike before we must all walk the talk.
