Only people I talk to in MOF.

Obviously there is no paper trail. But the proof is money going, but nothing to show for it.

Curbside pickup food might be logical.

You have 1.4M people, I am sure you can find a group to fit the role. Ditch the balisier juice for a bit so your thinking would clear up and maybe you can try to understand that putting the same people there all the time who failed before would only result in continued failure...

1. Curbside pickup to resume on Monday with strict Covid protocols.

2. Schools to be used for students to do exams only and ancillary staff should be available from Monday to prepare.

3. Maxi/Taxi to return to 50% capacity from 25% capacity.

4. Curfew to still remain in effect.

Those are the only changes I'm seeing.

If logic, reason and science prevail, I predict:

1. Removal of the allowance to have 4 non household residents visit a private residence with police or army to enforce compliance
2. Solo outdoor exercise permitted in line with social distancing guidelines with increased police or army presence at popular exercise sites to ensure compliance
3. Removal of lax "essential worker" designations that have allowed non essential businesses eg. Carib to continue operating at full capacity
4. Announcement of more borrowed money to enable supplemental payments to workers who can't work during the restrictions

Why de France politics must enter everything so in this country?

The medical staff at Couva have done an excellent job since last year. Now the NCRHA CEO Davlin Thomas is allegedly lying through his teeth.

I wonder which politician (PNM OR UNC) told him to make such a move.

Don’t use me as scapegoat
Medical Chief of Staff on rotation of doctors at Couva Hospital:

Anna Ramdass May 21, 2021 Updated 2 hrs ago

Couva Hospital Medical Chief of Staff Dr Don Martin said he is being used as a “scapegoat” as he never requested that senior specialist doctors be rotated out of hospital during the most critical time in the Covid crisis.

He said the move is unwise, demoralising and the team is left heartbroken ...

You forgetting who runs this country orrr?

Given 3 more months of SoE, I think he will tighten things up a lot more.

So what's the deal with the 1.5M Sinopharm vaccines that we were going to buy? Did we already purchase it and it's ready to be shipped or does that 1.5M still needs to be manufactured?

They should implement some sort of shift system for supermarkets.

Persons with names A-M on Sun/Tues/Thurs

Persons with names N-Z on the others.

Since when have they been easing restrictions with daily cases still rising? Perhaps the outdoor ones might be ok but public transportation ? Not yet

The only logical thing for PM to do presently, is to engage a further 2 week lockdown (at minimum).
Forget reopening for now, once the population alive and well, we'll reopen in time to come.

Trinis asses are still happy.

They are just patiently waiting for KFC, bars, beaches and rivers to open and we know what will be the outcome.

The PM can more than afford to restrict a little more.

Do it while the nation is silent.

The place hard, but not that hard.

Relaxation of restrictions just isn't an option at this time.
Our infection rate and the obvious pool of infected citizens which must be far larger than those determined via testing, suggest that we may be faced with many more weeks before 'control' can be achieved.
This dark time is surely going to test each and every one of us and those of us who have embraced dysfunctional behavior as a way of life would be the ultimate victims in one way or the other.
Covid19 demands that we all engage in serious introspection and rejection of attitudes which do not support positive values.
Unlike before we must all walk the talk.

We're not currently in a lockdown, we're merely under restrictions.
