Alot of trinis go there to buy goods for their clothes stores down here. Plenty of the fake shoes and fake jerseys you see locally is from suriname. I was there in early Feb and we bounce up trinis everywhere we went to lime. Casinos. Clubs. Restaurants.

Seeing a trend of business places putting sinks with soap for customers to wash hands before entering and when leaving. This is so much better than sanitizer.

I think this is an excellent trend and should remain even after we are over this pandemic.

strange the media doesn't report these things. That 1000 case estimate is the most important thing in the news conference but the lazy media only thinking about Ian Alleyne or running down SFGH to photograph patients.

So far, the count is 370 tests and 60 positives. Remove the cruise ship people (70 tests, 42 positive) and the January/February people (30 tests), and you're left with 18 positives out of 270 tests, or about 1 in 20 tests coming back positive in March.

*assuming we don't find any big clusters, like more cruise ship or vacation resort groups, churchs, dorms, etc.

Don't really want to spread panic, but i'm hearing police went to retrieve Alleyne's firearm in Caura.... can't confirm so wait for the official version if there is one.

Keep seeing and hearing similar on the book of faces so not sure how true it is. It is said however that they have him up in Caura.

I do understand patient confidentiality, however, I would really like to know if this is true because the amount of people that interacts with this individual and the potential catastrophe that can possibly happen as a direct result of his reckless inability and reprehensible behaviour to self-quarantine is unfathomable.

I have a relative who interacts with one of his direct employees. So shakes work ah magic and find out for all ah we na plz!
