The tickets are verified by real persons so it shouldn’t be an issue

I not sure why people talk about the PNM dismantling the train service like if that service was any where as robust as it needed to be. The train service died when the highways and personal automation became accessible. It didn’t even pass any where near our current developments.
Could it have been kept and upgraded, perhaps but at the time it wasn’t even in demand anymore.

Total Bullchit.

It was stopped because of the car dealers, scrap dealers and the new NP gas station racket.

It was a hugh con job. Scrap dealers sold the Engines to Brazil and the tracts as scrap.

Car dealers gained car sales.

New PNM gas station owners lined up their pockets to cash in. This was exposed by Robinson at the that time.

Remember the great gas station racket exposed by Mrs Miles, it was a part of the dismantling of the rail system.

Starting yesterday morning the level of presence on Police on the roads is significantly more than I have ever seen.......ever!! Yesterday morning every turn off on the CRH west bound starting from Valpark all the way to NP had bike cops. Needless to say shoulder use was more or less nil. In the evening eastbound they were bike cops by Nestle, the two Valsayn entrances and Curepe. Also meaning the usual shoulder bantons were not to be seen.

Guess this is in preparation for next month when the points system starts.

It's very difficult for me to reconcile near constant rhetoric about a lack of enforcement followed by accusations of extortion when those same laws are about to be enforced.

it won't be an issue, ambulance company will be ticketed accordingly, driver will pay the fine & get he points.

Yes, an ambulance is an emergency services vehicle, but that DOES NOT give them the authority or an exemption allowing them to exceed the speed limit. That isn't the purpose of the siren, it's to let ppl know they coming so to clear a path so that they may get where they going as quickly as possible, not an accessory designed to help the vehicle break the sound barrier.

Noticed that the online vehicle database still hasn't been updated. I wonder if they're using that to send out tickets or they have a separate up to date database?

It would be kinda funny if previous owners started receiving tickets for traffic violations...:|

9. St. Joseph Road/ San Fernando By Pass Intersection
10. Rienzi Kirton Highway/ Cross Crossing Intersection
11. South Trunk Road / Gulf City Traffic Lights

Never saw any speed cams at those spots.

Is it only me or am I not alone in thinking about wastage HP and torque in our vehicles? 6 and 8+ cylinders, turbos, superchargers etc and all limited to 100kmph not to mention endless traffic every single day.

They don't think about the consequences. A loaded truck came through Trincity lights a good few seconds after it changed , good thing I always look before moving off. I don't want to be right and dead.

Had a night pelting coming down the road off the cross crossing interchange. Met two loaded trucks with police escort front and back hauling ass. I overtook them and was approaching gulf city lights.

Light turn yellow and a woman in a sedan mash brakes and stop. I meeting it red on the next lane. Truck start to blow horn and police siren start to make noise. I on my lane and she stop in the truck lane. No way they could stop so I had no choice to break the lights and pull in front her to allow them to keep moving.

Well the police vehicle in front pull in front me now with the siren on to stop traffic and well warm up my ears before going their way. Some of them does look for their death yes. I see now the company implent a 50km/h limit for the trucks but I does always remember that lady and regret I never took a pic.

Unless they made amendments in secret there is no law for them yet. They may be compiling data though
