Agreed, most mechanics will try to discourage you from returning to the firm and will quickly "create" reasons not to. Firm has the parts and trained technicians to diagnose and fix issues, most shady tree mechanics will tell you is one thing and try to fix, when it was something else the firm would have caught the first time. may cost a little more, but in the end you know u getting original parts etc.. I had this issue with a hiliux, mechanic was saying all kinda things wrong, took it toyota, was simple sensor, replaced in 10 mins, yeah it cost me a bit more, but if i listed to the "mechanic" i would have changed all sorts of parts and not fix the issue

yup. better to fork out the extra and get good work done from people who are knowledgeable about the vehicle.

If you have the 1.8 model you can get practically everything at these sites:

If you don't want to shop on those sites then use those said sites to lookup the part numbers and order off of amazon or eBay. It won't apply for everything though, you may need to get stuff directly at the source website.

Buy and ship to your skybox. The 1.6 does not sell in the US so a lot of engine components will be different. Verify your p/n's before you purchase and you good to go. Depend on no one but yourself.

LSM -$1200 for a radiator hose.
the simple one that goes from the block to the cabin heater.
$17 and some elbow grease later. replaced.

now that bleed is gone, another part of the system cannot withstand pressure.

LSM put two hose clamps, but look where.


waiting for it too cool, and the original clamp will do the job. Hopefully the hose won't be cut.

Check this from lifestyle .......Warranty " replaced " part.....Lol

^^^^^^ notice the silicone-like white substance they used to seal the spot where the seal and clamp supposed to be. Bought my parts online and costs alot cheaper ........... ALOT

I dropped my Chevrolet Cruze 1.8 by Keith to fix based on the recommendation here and had the most horrible experience. I do not recommend him as a mechanic at all. He kept my car for about 3 months with lots of excuses, never got my car properly fixed after spending $$$ on original parts and found out afterwards when other mechanics checked my car that he used cheap parts on my car and not the new parts I bought for him to fix my car!! He has proven to be a scammer and lied many times about his progress with fixing my car. Never short on excuses. Fair Warning: You will be carrying your car there at your own risk if it is for mechanical issues. He may work for simple, quick surface jobs but not for assisting in the proper, honest fixing of mechanical issues.

He was good in the earlies but idk what went wrong and i have recommended him to alot of ppl and was embarrassed numerous times so i do apologize for recommending him and i would advise that u dont carry ur car by him for any kind of work
