Mk5 golf gti

Hey guys,anybody knows the current market value for a mk5 golf gti? Also who might have one for sale? Took a ride in one and was super impressed, handled well and engine has plenty of poke,owner wasn’t selling it for nothing tho lols which is understandable. Mechanic told me I would be better off getting the Jetta 2.0t but I still have hopes up of a nice 2 door.
