My stock reverse sensors in the octi stopped working. Is this a simple electrical issue that can be fixed or do i have to do a scan?

Sinple test to run to confirm if sensor is dead....

Have someone put car in reverse and with foot on brake, put your ear to each sensor...

You should hear a *tick tick* sound - this means its working ...

If any sensors are silent it needs replacing...

A scan will tell you sensor faulty but wont indicate which one is bad

The FSM recommended that? Do you use degrees in tightening? The bolts are probably known for stretching too far out of spec. I'm sure you'll get the, " I've been reusing them for years."

I think your best bet on that may be ebay

I bought some aftermarket custom made skoda mats off ebay. Usd $45. Plus shipping. Bit pricey but they are a good genuine fitImageImage

even comes with the locking clips for the driver side

anyone ever sorted the dreaded windscreen frosting issue? at nights the cold air from ac passes through the windscreen vent and freezes front windscreen making it hard to see through. thinking of just blocking the vent but that may require some skill

Having a hard start issue when engine hot. Whwn cold its starts normal but misfires a bit. Gas economy is horrible at 16 until after a good hard run it goes to 9.
Btw new headlamps tomorrow. Pics of install tomorrow. Visteon brand made in czech rep.
