Goodwill can apply to a wide range of issues from the seemingly innocuous to the large and it isn't always cut and dry. They could very easily have blanked me for goodwill.

Mr. Bernard is in a managerial role. Will try to find out what exactly and report back.

He's the operations manager, so he's likely the top guy. Lisa is the brand manager now; she took over from your girl Corrina Meyr

Ok, I think I know who it is, but would talking to him make any difference even after I spoke to Ryan?

The answer will always be NO if you don't ask the question. I could have simply accepted paying 23k for a mechatronic when they told me to pay but it worked out in my favor when I had a polite but informed discussion with Mr. Bernard. You have nothing to lose in being calm and talking to them.

Ok, will go in next week. Not sure if anything will go in my favor again though after VW copied my letter to them, lol.

Worst case scenario keep bothering them and do so with facts on your side! Don't go postal on them and don't call names in the public as that will lead to them threatening you with defamation.

Ryan is the GM right?

Saw this guy who put a big decal on his car talking about the problems with the car and how the dealer won't respond or help and advising people not to buy. That's a worse case option.

It's probably not their fault ... They probably have a line they need to follow from VW corporate, judging from VW behaviour with other scandals. They probably need to try to convince you that it's your fault so you pay for the part yourself. Only educated people on the issue who is persistent would get approval for goodwill.

Try a schaeffer's neutra, it swells and conditions the seals in the transmission. Use the entire pint.
