Volkswagen Tiguan - 2008 review?

Postby COROLLA KID » December 1st, 2014, 11:16 pm

I'm contemplating on getting one of these, anyone has/had experience with them?
how are they in reliability and maintenance cost?
don't want to buy and then have regrets......

Fantastic vehicle
This car literally saved my life and those of my family a couple years ago.
Was in a head on collision with a drunk driver and it took a hit and did its job.

All crash gear worked as expected and it tore the sheit out of the other car.

It's also great on fuel, excellent handling and comfort.

If u get this let me know...I may have a few things left over from my ride I can give u.

I have a 2009 Tiguan. Great car!

Parts aren't cheap locally but, honestly if you order parts from the US it is significantly cheaper than from Best Auto. Only real complaint is the dealer and the headliner drooping. Typical Euro problem.

I had a 2008 Forester and I can tell you it cost me a packet of money with repairs and extremely unreliable. Replaced it for an Audi Q5 2.0T as I'm sold on VAG now. :D

What I will tell you is avoid the diesel variant. Major problems.

How much are you getting one for?
