For the regular Passat
Regular services (5k, 10k, 15k miles) are about $1200

20k was about $3400

Not sure about 40k as that one is supposed to be bigger than the 20k

Thanks for your response. Service seems to be similar to a Jetta. Wanted more clarification on the 2.0tsi engine service. And the brake change for the electronic braking system. Seeing it is more advanced

The 2.0 tsi has a 6 speed DSG that needs a transmission fluid change every 30,000 to 40,000 miles so that's an extra cost right there not inherent to the 1.8 tsi.

Maybe the electronic parking brake. Ent Passats have no handbrake?

Correct.. no handbrake. Just a lil switch for the parking brake. If it's quiet enough, you can hear when it engages or disengages.
Also works with the Auto Hold feature, in instances when the Auto Hold is engaged for a few minutes, the parking brake activated, but just as quickly deactivates when you hit the gas

yes i ment by the push button brakes and not the traditional hand brake if changing the pads cost more when changing ? and no service cost for the 2.0tsi ?

The electronic parking brake is supposed to clamp down rear calipers once the vehicle is parked.. I don't think that will affect the wear of the pads. From the brake dust I see on mine, the front pads do most of the braking anyway.

Everything else is the same for the 2.0 except for that transmission fluid.

Haven't seen much feedback from CC/2.0TSI guys on here though. You should probably call BA
