Guys,

Anyone reach changed out their older spark plugs on they 1.4 tsi mk5/6 jettas ? The interval is around 40k miles or 60k kms. I will be doing 40k miles soon and I have seen on various sites that VW has changed the gap a few times normally a 1mm lower etc.

The plugs are supposed to be 03C905601A
But there is a revision 03C905601B

Let me know of your experience..

You can use BKR7EIX as an alternative....its slightly shorter than OEM and colder so won't experience misfires...saw the guys on CUPRA forum running this and reported better overall idling, smoother power etc...hoping to install myself soon

Yep, I heard the BKR7EIX plugs work well.

However I bought the NGK oe plugs PZFR6R Stock No. 5758 from the uk and re gapped it slightly to 0.75mm.. Some were between 0.9 and 0.8 so it didn't take much. I changed them recently but I haven't scanned for misfires etc yet. Will do so this weekend and report back.
