Need some info: BMW E34 Wheel Fitment

Postby areomanwah » December 18th, 2011, 11:11 pm

Good Day,

I have a 1991 BMW E34 525i Sport, with the M-Tec Suspension setup which is 30mm lower than stock at all corners. I am considering putting on a set of 17" wheels from an E46 3 series. The info that I am getting from some of the forums is that I will need to use 20mm wheel spacers. Has anyone used spacers this large? Would you recommend it?

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'd say get longer bolts if u gonna do that. So buy a bolt and spacer kit. Or just get 5 series rims the center bore is smaller on the 3series rims and won't go all the way onto to spindle that's y they saying to use the spacer... To clear the rim centers.
