Used EUROs - 307, passat, octavia

Im thinking about buyin a used EURO. I'm seein some Peugeot 307, but ppl have diff opinions of em. 2 ppl told me the engine n transmission is pure stress. Been lookin at d VW passat n Skoda Octavia. whats the better option ? Whats a fair price? n a good mechanic .........

have to agree wit everyone.....passat.........i currently own a passat....a6 audi....x5 and a 5 series bmw........had a 406 peugoet ...worked good but dis damn trnsmission got feddup.....bess bet passat all d way........if u need service parts i import dem at great prices....
