PBE Audi A6

Postby roclobster » December 9th, 2007, 2:43 am

Guys

What would an Audi A6 PBE model doing 105 000 km be worth? Ball park fig..
Car is in VG condition, dealer maintained and one owner.
Can anyone give me some feedback on this model...I am thinking of buying one.

Possible to get an A4 for around 60-70K

A6 might worth more.

NOTE the car is 105000km , you must change the timing belt and pulley , may have to repair the transmission, or change the whole dam thing , cost for a transmission about 35 k dollars , ask the owner if you could get the vehicle scan for any fault CODE log in ECM .........

TEST drive the vehicle and see if you feel any judder like a little shake , drive it real slow , if you feel that judder, its transmission problem .

As said above, be careful with respect to the mileage on this vehicle.

I do not mind buying an A4, aftermarket parts right in the USA..Rather than buying from Europe..

I noticed that when I drove the car slow I felt a little shaking in front...I could feel it on the steering wheel like if your tyres are out of balanced or something. When I drove faster it went away.. Transmission?????

it could be the rim or tyres bent .

when driving stright let go the steering , if the steering shakes from left to right , then its something to do with tyres or rim .
