Team Loco wrote:Guy did not see a tech forum. Today the ac took 5 whole minute to turn on. Car was parked in sun and I made sure to open hood to see ac compressor not engaged. tHen it startd to cool perfect. Stopped and noticed in the space of 2mins I had this amt of condensation off the ac high pressure line. Should I expect somehing to be going wrong?

Team Loco wrote:Yup. I always remembered you told me so. She runs mostly on 22 and I always make sure to vent that hot air. Last night it did the same. At a cold start up and with the ac running it took up to 4 mins for the compressor to come on. Then ac worked normal. So im guessing the hot air had nothing to do with it. With this said who do you guys recommend to have a look? My mind is stuck on maybe the coil in the compressor is going bad. Same symptom of my e46. Eventually compressor stopped engaging. Had to rewire coil.
