hi, i am interested in installing a pod filter and wanted some advise from people who have done this installation already.

2008, swift sport.

I am not looking for power gains, as i have even heard of power loss. but just want some nice induction noise that i hear from my friends swift with one.

do i have to get a Suzuki swift piping kit with the air flow meter plug or can i use universal piping and install the sensor on that.

will any problems/ errors with the computer occur with this mod, or are problems possible?

don't want to compromise reliability of the car.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Pod filter? which brand are you referring to? I installed the K&N kit on mine which comes with the necessary kit to fit it properly with the sensor and jack. The placement of the filter isn't entirely the best and its definitely not the best solution out there. I believe there was some discusson on the forum a while back on this filter. The car does get more sensitive to ambient temperatures. Note also that the sensor does get dirty faster with the short ram set-up so expect to clean that more often.
