Went to Lifestyle motors but through them = mucho dolares!
Would be greatly appreciated if positive feedback is given
(been looking for QUITE a while, with mechanics that tried a normal swift brainbox and it didnt work in the car)

SSS has electronic throttle, so the normal SS ECU wont work.
Make sure you get the key to go along with the ECU, or you gonna have to spend more money to program the your key to the new ECU.

This might seem way outside the box, but perhaps you should look for a crashed SSS, take the ecu and key, and part out the rest. At least that way you have a chance on making back what you paid for the car over time.
Otherwise, I wish you the best.

There is a guy that was able to contact recently with one. But he wants to sell the whole car, not just the box.
Can't afford that though

haven't really heard of anyone having ecu problems with their sport.you may look at buying a rrp ecu or monster sport ecu instead. that would be much easier to locate but would be just about 10k

my suggestion would be to buy a used full standalone management on tuner.
and then tune the crap out of it

Wouldnt you lose some safety features with a stand alone?

^^ yup, even with the best stand alone you would loose all BCM functionality. E-throttle control would be a challenge too, and good luck with programming VVT from scratch!
I really don't think there is any option less than 10K... and no, I have never heard of any SSS ecu giving trouble at all, not here, un the UK or singapore. I'm guessing someone did something stupid to destroy it!

^^^ I keep saying the new swift is not a b14 or sr20 where you hook up 3 wire and boom it start .... THE CAR IS ALOT MORE COMPLICATED ... Boss take a look at my post at the top of the suzuki forum Project swap over .. first I dont feel your ecu dead it may be a signal issue .. what where you trying to do ?

The car was bought second hand. The guy who originally owned it had gotten in an accident with it...
Was using the car fine (this is post buying it) and then the car lost power..Diagnosis? The brainbox needed changing..More than one mechanic saw it and said that.

The check engine light is the orange engine sysmbol light that will appear on your dashboard.
Are you reving to 6000 rpm while the car is moving .. not stationary it will only rev to 6000 rpm while stationary ...
If yes to first engine light issue then it could be that your cans wires are crossing and sending your ecu into a safe mode ..
If the engine temp sensor is not working properly the ecu reads a water temp of under 82 degrees which will reduce timing and you got the engine power lost..
