Head Held High as i walk out

Postby Psychomatrix » November 30th, 2010, 7:48 pm

Guys i know i have not been active.
but i do love my SSS :D
After getting married recently i have decided to compromise with my wife and get a vehicle both of us can drive.
So this means i have to sell my SSS... i am sure everyone knows its the Black SSS with the Red Sparco Mudguards.
I will make a proper post in the car sales forum soon but this is just to let the zuki crew know upfront in case anyone knows someone who is looking for one.

its only doing 46000km just about to come off warranty next year February.

My number is 374-8147 (Clive) feel free to call for any further information.

You should really look at all your options before making any decision that may involve taking a hit, whether to the wallet or to ur manlihood.

Have u considered for e.g., keeping the SSS and getting something for the wifey?

btw, I think there may also be some merit in taking up vtmiller's offer eh!

I taught my wife to drive a manual car using my SSS. It was good fun in the car park at trincity mall early on saturday mornings.... good "together" time, although not without challenges.

Now she can't stop telling me how much she enjoys driving a manual now! But then again, she also wants me to teach her to ride a motorcycle :(

..... now that was a good reason to sell d bike :D

fun asside, if that is the only reason for selling, perhaps there may be an alternative.

ps: look out for my wife on de road...she have heavy foot!

Reason not for 2 cars is that i dont want to have the cost of maintaining 2 cars ...also trying to save to build a house.
she would drive manual if i teach her but in this traffic i wont do her that.
plus a marriage is about compromise and this is just one thing i am doing for he of my own free will.

Good luck with the Mrs and the marriage! It's truly about compromise.

I understand not wanting to drive the stick in traffic though.. that was my reason for buying the auto.. though i do regret having it at zuki events and solodex :(

Congrats on taking the dive! Sorry about the casualty (SSS) tho!

In my instance, I told my gf (no I'm not married so I know it doesn't compare) that she'd have to get re-acquainted with driving a manual...to be able to drive my cars (simple!)

And lo and behold...her daily car ended up being a manual (her own), and my new daily beater is actually auto (forrrrr shame :( ).

(the weekend machine is of course, off limits  )
