hey u should not give up totally - it just might turn up like how the original racks for my car did. My racks were returned by someone who bought them new and never used it.....I took it off his hands

bobbys in the bamboo has a lot of roof racks brand new. recently bought one for a 2015 jimny at a cost of approximately $2000. and the bars are $595.
