Fuel consumption depends on how I drive really. Worst I've gotten is probably 400km from $100 super, if I drive very conservatively I'll get over 500km.

Aftermarket parts are available. Ignorant ignis has brought in some strut bars, springs and aftermarket pulleys. There are other parts available.

WRT maintenance.. my car only has 40,000 km on it and I haven't done anything other than routine maintenance on it yet. I've never driven the automatic but the manual is peppy and fun to drive.

Also is is the normal swift you are considering or the swift sport? Pete that is real impressive about the gas mileage, the best i get on my ignis sport is 400Km on a tank of premium :(

Most of the other posts I've seen by Swift owners they say they're getting 550km to the tank. I've never gotten that much. :(

I guess they think it would be too hard to sell them so they're not bringing them down to stock them. Talk to them and find out if you can get them to bring one down for you if they aren't stocking them. It's not like they don't have manual ones down here for them to give support.
