Any recommendations, or should I just go and look for the Mobil ATF 3309.

Thanks.

Of the fluids that I am familiar with, see below.

The following fluids are compatible with 3309 -
Amsoil ATF
Redline D4 ATF
Royal Purple MaxATF

The following fluids are not compatible with 3309 -
Valvoline MaxLife ATF

That depends on your budget and you change interval.
First thing you should do with an automatic transmission is install a transmission cooler on the return line to the transmission. This drops your ATF temperature and extends the life of both the fluid and the transmission.
If you're lazy, use a good quality fully synthetic ATF and drain and fill as per your owner's manual recommendation.
If you're paranoid (like myself), drain and fill ATF every oil change, which tends to be every 10k km.

I use Amsoil Low Viscousity ATF in the Corolla.
The Swift is a Redline shop, but its gearbox.
I have no problem recommending either Amsoil or Redline.

If youre doing an aggressive change like myself, almost any fluid that meets the spec should be fine.

I used the Amsoil and flushed the old atf. Works great!

Z its a pity amsoil does not have a CVT transmission fluid. I will be getting a CVT vehicle soon and was disappointed to know amsoil did not make a fluid. What are the other options for CVT?

For a CVT, I recommend you stick to the manufacturer branded fluid.
A cooler is essential, and regular changes will do you well.

Used Mobil ATF 3309 as recommended. However will eventually change to Amsoil, after i run this for about 20k.
