tyre size for GR Vitara

help! need tyre info have a 2000 4 dr gr vitara
I want to know max size tyres I can use witout mods.
Then what mods can be done in order of easiest first.

Also my zuki is auto,will the larger tyres cause problems to tranny.

I also need a thermostaat and kick down cable.
Went to lifestyle $275 for thermo and $7??. for cable
Does any one know where I can get at better price

if u looking for a kickdown cable call shivan at 781-8369,he have one avalible.

about the tires,depends on what rims u currently runnin on d van,if its the skinny 5 sprang one,ill guess a 255 mite suffice.

I know someone who stuffed 255/70/R15 Bridgestone Dueler HT's.....those are approximately 29" tall

I tried 255/70/15 but just touches the plasti guard at the back of the front wheel well.
I plan on modifying guartd a bit.

255/70... :shock:

i use 225/60R16 on mine ('98 GV) but 235/60R16 can fit also.

Is there a way to calculate the diameter of the tyre from its
size i.e 225/60/??.
I know a 29" will fit
