Looking for a good mechanic for Ford Ranger 4x4

Postby Jon Speed 99 » September 21st, 2017, 8:39 pm

Good day guys,
Just bought a used Ranger, 2013 model, 3.2 liter automatic. Dont have any issues. But want to get engine and tranny oil changed and get a tune up.
Can anyone recommend a good Ford Mechanic?

Thanks

I have a question and would like to get the answer. Do these ford rangers require an ECU check up or reboot every time the vehicle is serviced ? I know for a fact the automatic versions need updates.

That being said, does anyone know of any mechanic - (I’d call the guy tomorrow - Meeshak) who has the required software to make this happen? I have a 3.2 manual and it’s doing 90KM’s This requires a complete change out of all liquids - engine, gb, tc, diffs, coolant, brake fluids, all filters etc. The firm quoted me 7k to have this done. I’ve always serviced by the firm to maintain my warranty which expires at 100kMs - but I find they are a little proxy at 7k.

I spoke with this guy. Sounded real humble and real intelligent. This is the person I'd be going with. He also made mention of Stuart saying "Stuart is excellent and one of the best" as well. Great information here guys...
