The thing i don't understand is transmissions have been around for ages , the old 280c and Royal Saloon and many other older cars never had transmission problems. These guys improving it but they riddled with problems.
I really don't feel comfortable with a high priced vehicle like the Ranger doing 35000km and carrying repaired parts. The dealership isn't fixing the vehicle and from what I understand they not even sourcing the part. That is left up to the outside mechanic. So the dealer doesn't even know what the hell was changed or repaired. Spoke to a technician who works in Ford Canada. He said they were supposed to change the whole transmission.
