Hey all
I bought a FORD THUNDER RANGER from Mceneary Motors in March 2009, I went with Tatil insurance to receive a discount, I paid around 10 K for the first year.
I received a notice in the beginning of March 2010, the amt due was for 18K !! Is this a typo, or the actual amt? I thought that the insurance amt would decrease . What do you guys think is going on here? Any insights?

call or go in and speak with someone... sounds very much like an error. If you already have maximum no claim discount, then the premium should be the same. If you didnt have the maximum, and you had no claims throughout the year, then the premium should decrease.

Even with a rate increase (which is something insurance companies also do from time to time), it wouldnt go from 10k to 18k... thats a 80% increase which is unheard of
