Dude, I own a ranger. WLT 2.5 turbo diesel 4X4. Since I bought it the only oil I've used is the
Amsoil 15 W 40 marine diesel synthetic oil. Now because of my line of work, I have access to a full oil analysis
Lab. Every 5000 Km, I take a small sample and have it analysied. I change that oil every 20,000 km and at every 5000 I check it for wear metals,
Water content, viscosity, detergents and carbon build up.

There is a reason Amsoil is the first in synthetics. Trust me, using amsoil in your ranger is a very wise decision.
Ensure you use the right oil thou. The marine diesel is the best because the oil is geared towards harsher conditions.

Call Prolube, they are the authorised distributors for amsoil in the caribbean, 633-6110. Ask for Tony, tell him Wesly with the ranger sent you.
Hear what he has to say, see the info he gives you and you will see the results yourself.
Also, email me at oilsolltd@gmail.com and I'll email you all my oil analysis reports on my ranger since day one. She turned one year old on the 28th of nov
And she's doing 80,000 kms (yeah ah does reel drive) TCL 1840.
Trust me, amsoil is the leader and the first in synthetics.
